My name is Quinn Cox
I am a 2021 University of North Texas graduate with a BFA in Fashion Design. As an individual, I have always been determined to escape the boxes that I was placed inside of. I first discovered my interest in fashion when I was in high school, but it had been within me since the beginning. I have always had a keen eye for fit, proportions, composition, and quality.
When it comes to my personal projects, I focus on avant-garde and artisanal menswear and womenswear. My goal in fashion is to create pieces that will be cherished and studied for their design, construction, and historical context. I love to do my research as well. I gather most of my inspiration from historical garments and politics while incorporating motifs from more recent subcultures and movements.
Currently I am working in dancewear and athletic wear. I am highly skilled in the Gerber suite, with a certification in AccuMark. I enjoy rapid prototyping using 3D programs like AccuMark 3D and CLO 3D. I have experience developing size charts and grade tables for youth and adult from missy to plus size.
